The fonts on these sites are mostly for personal use. I’ve chosen four sites that have a nice selection and have been around for a while. There are plenty of fonts available on sites all over the Internet. In all fairness, I thought it would be important for me to review some free Halloween display fonts. Jolly Lodger would be great as the body of a document in conjunction with using another spooky font for the title and headings.Īnother font by Rubik, Beastly is an unusual spikey and mysterious font. Jolly Lodger could be used for things not meant to be spooky, but I think it works great as a spooky theme, just a little more subtle. Uppercase only, but the lowercase letters have a slightly different style than the uppercase.I’m not sure what to call the effect that is happening to these letters, but there is definitely something spooky and mysterious about it. Extra bold lettering that tapers off toward the bottom with some blood dripping off of the letters.Įater is a great unique font with slight variation in letter size and is less bold than the other spooky fonts. Instead of drops the letters are streaking, like wet paint.Īnother Halloween favorite, Butcherman is an old-school spooky font with a unique style. This bloody font is awesome with a different take on dripping letters. Smaller uppercase letters are used in place of lowercase letters.Metal Maia is a little more subtle and not an obviously spooky font, but it looks great and will work for a scary theme. Creepster has a retro vibe and is easily recognized as a scary theme that is perfect for Halloween. This mysterious font is very bold and has a shimmy or gooey look.
